TJ's Birthday

So, TJ turned 4 on the 12th of this month. When I asked him what he wanted his cake to look like he said Scooby Doo. I was glad about this bc there is plenty of Scooby Doo stuff in party stores. But, then it changed to a white house. Not THE White House. Just a plain old white house. I probably could have round up some decorations with The White House on them with the election and all, but then he changed it again. I was kind of relieved until I started looking for decorations. He decided he wanted a Woodstock (from Peanuts) cake. Ok, well, Charlie Brown hasn't been popular lately which means Woodstock isn't just going to show up in party stores. I was lucky enough to find some stickers with Peanuts characters and a Snoopy and Woodstock mylar balloon (which was way cheap bc it was clearance). For his party with a few of his friends the next weekend I pretty muched forced Wall-E onto him.
Anyway, the Woodstock Party was at our house with all the family that could make it. We made tie-dye shirts, ate dinner, opened presents and had cake. He got a lot of Wall-E stuff so it was pretty exciting.
His birthday was on a Monday, so that day we took him to McDonald's and got his bike.
The Friday after was his friend party at Chuck E. Cheese. It was a lot of fun, and I didn't have to clean up, which was awesome. Those presents were pretty much all car related, and he loved them all. Gavin loves any kind of vehicle too, and TJ is so good at sharing, so they have both been busy with those.

After 3 months....

So, after 3 months of not writing on my blog, I have quite a few things to post. I will probably do one post a day until I get all of the pictures out of my "pictures for blog" folder.

Christmas at the Webbs

This year for Christmas we went to the Webbs house in Fayetteville. We had a nice big dinner on Christmas Eve and woke up to this pile of presents the next day. TJ helped Marcus pass them all out to everyone and now he is obviously exhausted.

TJ was so excited to finally get Kung Fu Panda.

This big Tonka truck was a present for TJ, but Gavin has had lots of fun with it.
Before we got started, Gavin was excited just to get to pull a bow off.

Aunt Amy playing Ring Around the Rosies with TJ, Ragno and May
When we got home, Santa had left this slide climber for the boys! Good thing we thought to leave cookies for him here too!!

CTR 8 sleepover

Back in December I had a little sleepover for the girls in my primary class. There were only girls in my class, I didn't just leave out boys. Anyway, we had fun and made some sugar scrubs for their momma's and bracelets for the girls. They had way more fun, though, playing with the boys and dancing around while Marcus played R0ck Band. They eventually got their own turn to play the next morning.

They have moved into Sr. Primary now, and I will sure miss them. I actually have boys in my class this year, so I will have to come up with some other kind of fun party next Christmas.
